Ease of tuning, datalogging during a race pass, data acquisition in general, engine safeties, additional features, expandability in the future versus the stock ECU. No torque management, nothing affecting timing/fueling in the background. Ever seen the black puff during a pull that is neither misfire nor rich? Where it randomly pulled timing and dumped fuel?

We are not currently using the OKM as this car is E85-E98, just the PnP M800. We are monitoring knock voltage looking for spikes but this car is also at 15* of timing at 9k rpm.

So I know you guys have done more then a few 700+ Evo X and I also remember your testing of EGT's, were do you feel the X is happy as far as boost/timing at 9k?. MBT at 9k?
Im moving to a 9180 on mine because I blew up the 8374 and I know the main reason was over speening the turbo but I want to make sure I don't go to aggressive on the tune.

Also, the Motec doesn't have built in Knock control? That's why you would need the OKM?

The EGT testing was 530whp cars at 17* and an 11.2, this is a 10.9 and 15*. It went all weekend at this level and not only survived but one its class both days. I am less concerned with EGT from low timing as I am from CHT and high timing.

Any way I could get details on the Fuel Surge Tank System? I am being told that a surge tank setup will not work at these power levels and E85. Thanks!

That sounds silly. We run a surge tank out to 1120whp in the White Evo 8 1/2 mile car.

Are you guys using the 3L Tank? I have the setup already with the smaller unit. Do you guys use one FPR on your setup, mine was setup with one in the engine bay and one in the rear with the surge tank? Do you hard-wire your pumps? I am assuming you are running twin Walbro 400's......one in tank and one in the the Surge Tank. Mine was the MAP kit and came with the 255 in the gas tank and a Walbro 450 in the surge smaller surge tank. I was told I needed to remove the surge tank because it couldn't support any over 550 WHP on their Mustang Dyno and on E85 and to run a double pumper.....Have to drop the car back off on the 18th and trying to figure out my fueling options. Appreciate the hep and advice!

Just this one - https://www.radiumauto.com/Standard-...anks-P515.aspx

Just FPR on the fuel rail, I am not sure why you'd have one on the surge tank.

If there is an Elite or Platinum that is getting released then yes I would love to test one in the X. Haltech is very easy to use and not too different from what most tuners are already used to. The Motec is awesome but not an intuitive step without training in how it functions.
