The blueflex full kit is $350 including the ethanol sensor

Plus install

Tephra v3 is $100 (or $50 upgrade from V2)

Plus Tune

Plus injectors, fuel pump if you don't already have them...

If you're starting from scratch then yeah that sounds about right.

Injectors - $400 - $900. I went with ID1300's in case I wanted a bigger turbo
Fuel pump - $100 - $150. I went with the DW300C
BlueFlex - $350
TephraV3 - $50 - $100

Right there you're up to $1000 to $1500 just in parts. As far as labor the only thing you should need is a tune. Install all the other stuff yourself, do the pump and blueflex at the same time, it's easy and will maybe take an hour and do not need any speciality tools.

The tuning will vary depending on who you talk to. Some tuners will charge more than others. But plan on $600 - $1000 for the tune depending on which tuner you decide to go with.

So if the tuner you talked to only said $2000 for everything all in that's a bargain.

This setup is totally worth it. I know some of you will look at the price of the flex conversion as rather daunting, but in all honesty it pays for it self.

Cool thanks for the info. Yeah the tuner is well known around these parts so I don't doubt their quote but was just curious.

I would do this in a heart beat if E85 was more readily available around here.

If its not readily available then I wouldn't bother with it. I did it cause it's my daily driver and I plan on using E85 as much as I can and only use pump gas when I have to take long drives.

And it'll be gone before they opened a station about 30 min from my house. Used to being 3 5 gallon jugs up there, fill up the car and the jugs and that lasted my almost 2 weeks usually.

I have the Flexconverter kit also works great !
I am also a IPhone user ..
You need to go to Walmart and buy a $25 dollar Trackphone ! Take it home and connect it to your wifi and download the Flexconverter App and BAM !! Easy cheap !! Only purpose is to monitor your ethanol ..
I keep it in my car and check my E85 % every time I fill up !

Thanks for the insight bud, didn't know Walmart sold a phone for this cheap (I don't shop there much). My girlfriend still has her old Galaxy. If she still has the power cable then I'll use that, if not I'll venture down to Walmart and grab one of these. Thanks man.

Who from around Buffalo did you get the quote from if you don't mind me asking?
I have the full flex setup ready to go for mine, just waiting for my ROM to be released.

Also there are probably 5-6 places spread around WNY that have E85
