Yup, stock location bolt-on ball bearing.

How do they compare to the MHI 18k? Power is probably close, but does the BB cartridge make it feel snappier?

Feels more responsive than my JB BBX Lite did, that's for sure.

I wonder if you could send this to FP and have a 76htz (fp red) compressor wheel shoved into it.

The GTX3071R isn't the only version:

GTX3076R
GTX3576R
GTX3582R

Bryan,
Do you happen to have any plots for 93 octane tune? I am curious how much that would impact his setup (versus ethanol mixed). I love quick spooling turbos, and 200 ft-lb at 3k is not bad at all. Running a mil-spec cat is killing me, but I just can't seem to make myself throw in a test-pipe !

Not on this car, California is a 91 octane state.

Well, htz86 was a no go. They don't machine your compressor housing said it wouldn't work and I would have to use their housing. I would have have to change my entire setup so I had them send it back. :-(
