The EGT is really high on a stock port 4B11, the intake isnt the issue as it will flow more than a 4G63. The 29mm exhaust valve and port that is 2/3s the size elevates EGT by 250* on average. It flows by virtue of force but bottlenecks create problems. The main thing we get when we port them is reduced backpressure and EGT. There is definitely power in porting the exhaust as well though, we have found 60whp overall.

I keep seeing you say this but there are a plethora of 700whp+ 4b11's with non-ported heads.
I meant turbo for turbo. To extract the full potential from a turbo, the 4b11 works better with a ported head. See below in regard to lower backpressure and EGT, by a lot.

The other thing to keep in mind is it made 4whp more than a full port 4g63 with a turbo that is 11mm bigger. This car should have made over 1300 with a ported head and the 8385. 7285 to 7285, Drag X vs Drag 8 the stock head is down around 100whp, different motors to be sure but it shows where the stock head is really at in comparison.

When we have the M150 in it and 8 injectors on methanol. It will get to real boost and timing then.

M150 has a base calibration at this point based on my X, most of the CAN sniffing has been done, etc. We have to build a new harness and then wire the extra 4 injectors. It is coming soon though

Nice work! You guys R top notch! What a/r do run on a turbo that large? Just curious 500hp @ 6500 seems like it's not as much lag as you would expect from a turbo that large.
