Yeah, the MR2 electric p/s pump is the way to go. Just find a mounting location and do the plumbing. They do make a little noise, and not quite as smooth as a conventional p/s pump, but you gotta give a little. The electric rack would be a nightmare to get working I would assume.

For a daily I could see noise being an issue, but a hood exit exhaust car with belt driven mechanical fuel pump...that might be the quietest part of the car

^ Yeah, its really not thaaaat noisey. For that type of car, hell yeah, it would be butter. Only time you hear it is when you are idling and turning. Once the wheels start rolling its no big deal. That build is super rad you guys got going there! Excellent job English, inspiring!!

Talk to rickerman. He relocated his power steering pump to the trunk and made it electric

Considering what GSC rates those springs at, I would say ER is running something custom.

We are running custom stuff right now and then shimming them to get the rates we need. The car has been as high as 64psi and 10,400rpm so the test is working

My God! It's unbelievable the performance you squeezed out of that build. Amazing the power you can get with a big frackin turbo and the right fuel. These results are really interesting. I've been planning my build, but it looks like the heads clearly don't need any porting and the stock crank can hold obscene power safely.

Quite literally the exact opposite. The 4b11 head takes a lot of work to make big numbers.

Can you elaborate? This car is making 1200whp with a stock port head...

I keep seeing you say this but there are a plethora of 700whp+ 4b11's with non-ported heads.

What a friggen monster.... I love that you kept standard porting on the heads. Goes to show it was done right from the start. Plus what can be obtained in the right hands, as for that 6" cooler WOW>
If I ever win the lotto I will ask you guys to build me a monster X to run in Oz.
Keep up the great work.
