Bluetooth to Bluetooth AUDIO player??
I have a 2009 lancer with bluetooth working and installed. AND i do NOT have a navigation. just basic console with 6 cd changer/sirius radio and all.
My bluetooth is already installed and working. All my steering wheel buttons are working and all. But one thing disappoints me about my OEM bluetooth. Is that i cant play music via bluetooth.
I know its because its an older manufactured bluetooth. and that most new cars with bluetooth built in can stream there music through bluetooth in there car. playing through the car's sound system...
So i was wondering if its possible to like upgrade my bluetooth to be able to pllay bluetooth audio?
Would this need hardware replacement?
is there an OEM for this?
i prefer OEM parts, but if it cant be helped i guess ill look into after-market parts if it does the job right.:con fused:
Update [Dec 23 2012]:
-i went to try look through the manual and played with the button on my console labelled "cd/mp3". hoping to maybe find a "bluetooth audio" mode. but nothing found. only thing happens is when press the button once ==> goes to cd player. when i hold the button for a few seconds ==> goes to AUX PLAYER. =/
-anyone else found it? specifically Lancer 2009.
cause i think only the new models like 2011-2013 around. are capable to stream music from there phone via bluetooth to car sound system.
-Maybe theres a way to use sirius radio? and stream music from there? I personally think sirus radio is kinda useless in today's day and age. since we all have iphone/andriod and play our own music. i would be happy to lose the satellite radio crap for some real bluetooth audio. that would be sweet. =D
-I looked up FUSE system.. seems exactly what i want!!! is it compatible with 2009 Lancer? IF so. Does anyone know where i can buy the OEM one or order it? i really prefer not to ask dealership cause there gonna charge me up the butt for it and convince me "ITS THE ONLY WAY" and i looked at the console of 2011-2013 lancers and seems a bit different. does this show a problem for older 2008-2010 drivers if they want to upgrade to FUSE?
******shown in picture***** other picture (the right taken by camera) is my own head console compared to the newer one (the left)
