USB fitted to MMCS

USB fitted to MMCS
Ok, i know i'm not the first one that asks, but i can't find the answer i'm looking for.
I've got a '08 Evo X
Got fitted a '09 MMCS
And i want a USB connection in my car. (Because im getting tired of using my phone @ RCA, its eating battery)
I cannot imagine that it's not possible to wire up an USB connection to the MMCS.
After all... There are several evo's with USB connection.
Is there anybody who did some soldering/welding on the wires to make a USB fit?

I've looked and there are a couple of connectors free at where the USB should be, but i don't think those are connectable with the original USB plugin port.
So i think it should be possible to wire it up directly on the MMCS unit
