Quick question for you guys:
Details
-----------
I have a 2014 MR with RF and I received a unit with the CANBUS adapter (labeled 2014 Outlander).
The unit was MTCD_HA, so I updated it per NinjaX's earlier post.
I set the unit to 57_Mitsu_Outlander_2014 or whatever and selected "With Amplifier"
Only Front and Rear speakers work, no sub.
Question
-----------
How do you guys with working RF CANBUS systems have your unit hooked up?
Do you have all of the RCA cables connected in the back? I'm thinking that you shouldn't have to connect them, but I tried hooking up a few of the RCAs and it didn't seem to make a difference.
Thanks!!!

I'm trying to improve boot time, so working on removing some of the stock apps the system don't need. So far I have remove the gmail2, calendar, etc. not bit improvements yet, reading about a custom rom maybe I take that route will see.

Update:
I received a different CANBUS and installed it. This one said "Pajero" on it and it was a reddish color. I got no sound at all.
I decided to just go ahead and hook up an amp under the spare tire. Then I ran an RCA cable from the SUB output of the headunit and spliced into the connections going to the factory sub.
It sounds really good and I like the extra control that I get over the subwoofer. Amp install is cake, since the battery is already back there. I just drilled some small holes toward the bottom of the plastic shield in the trunk to run the wires through.
