Double DIN Aftermarket Plastic Trim Piece. Where to find?
I want to upgrade to a 7" Double Din in the 2014 Evo X. But i was told their would be a gap and i need a universal trim to cover it up if i am using the stock dash and no aftermarket dash kit. I love the stock dash because of the silver trim. I need to find this Trim piece! Where is it?

I have that same dash trim piece and it fits fine with my Pioneer double-DIN.
I would suggest try and see how it actually mounts through the trim first - then see if you need some additional trim to close a gap. There are 1/4 round plastic adhesive trim strips (in many colors) that would work if needed.

The Metra and Scosche kits are pretty bad fit and finish-wise. The people with the older dash design typically get a OEM piece when they go double-din. Most decent head units come with a trim piece if the don't fill the 2-din standard hole. I got a Chinese Android HU and the bezel that came with it filled the gap perfectly.

PAC-SWI works best for steering wheel control.
I assume you are reusing the brackets from the OEM radio.
You play using the many different holes on the new radio chassis to find what puts the radio in the best location (a bit o' trial error, perhaps).
Install it as best you can. Post pix.
I used grey foam insulation in my install - but only because I didn't try hard enough to get the radio more 'facing out' and used the foam to close the gap. Worked well for me.
