If you had factory fosgate and you're staying stock HU it'll provide easy access to line-input, speaker output, and power-on. Probably not adequate power supply. If you're going to upgrade the HU & speakers, it's a toss-up. I'd probably go for the trunk at that stage for neater wiring, crossover mounting, and shorter power wire runs.

It will Be all aftermarket. What I like about it, it's stealth and I probably won't be touching it once it's all in. I love my trunk space and I'm relocating the battery there and I'm adding a subwoofer and box. So already a lot being taken up. I'm going to dynamat the whole car.

Worked well for me...
My rear mat covers it (and protects it).
Can only be seen when my Lovely Bride drives and has the seat allllll the way forward [rolls eyes]
You can put another one under the passenger side as well - but must remove the seat sensor bracket and zip tie the sensor units to the coils in the seat
