How you know know if your EVO X is tuned or has stock ECU setting?
I bought a used EVO X MR from a dealer and it camed with some tasteful mods (CAI, CBE, FMIC, UICP, BOV, etc.)
Unfortunately, I have no idea if it has been tuned or not.
I was expecting more power/response with all of these mods but for some reason I feel like I'm driving a stock MR.
It didn't come with COBB AP neither.
Is there anyway you can find out if it was tune?
Thanks

Just because it has aftermarket parts, does not mean it was tuned.
Or it could have a crappy ots tune, on a used car it can be anything.
With those mods, it should be much quicker than stock.
Had a protune with just a drop in filter & gained 28whp.
Your dealer should know if the ecu has been altered.
If not, find a Cobb dealer near you & have them check.

always take a used modded car that you just bought to a reputable tuning shop to find out what was exactly done to the car, any issues that you may not know of or see and to make sure it was properly tuned. If not it can cause a lot of headache down the road. You dont want to punch it one day and blow your engine.
