Still trying to figure out E85 vs Flex Fuel

Not required but good to have on any Evo regardless of fuel

Do you need a flex fuel sensor if the Cobb AP can switch between two maps?

No. Thats not flex, you are talking about dual map setup.

It's definitely safe, I mean there are flex fuel cars running around from the factory that definitely have factory catalytic converters due to emissions laws.

I ran it most of last season with no issues, although I swapped in my "Higher Flow" unit for some racing events. ahem.

Leaded Race Gas will coat the inside of the cat and can ruin it in short order, definitely avoid that situation.
