Dry Cone filter vs. Oil Cone filter
#17
My Cosworth is the exact same one that goes in the X. Stock Air intake use a drop-in(No tune) vs. Whole new set up CAI/SRI(must get tuned). A tune if found by your dealership will void your warranty. But it (ECU tune) will also get you the best bang for your buck. So every owner has to make there own choice. I have see guys wait out the warranty. I have also seen guys void there warranty the first week of ownership. If you plan on going mild the drop-in is perfect, but if want to go big a CAI, TBE, and a tune.

I eventually plan on an exhaust, but I don't have alot of money since I got my X (go figure!). So even though it's not right, Im probably just going to get the Cosworth filter and a tune. Then later in life, probably a couple of years from now, I will get an exhaust and IC piping. But then I will have to retune. I know it's pretty redundant, but it's all I can afford with this EPIC car payment that I have now lol
