E85 Stock Turbo or FP Black?

I'm thinking about getting the FP Black but I wanted to get some input from you guys. It's either gonna be keeping the stock turbo and running like 27psi on stock turbo with E85 making like 360whp/390tq. Or Throwing an FP Black on there with a much more afficient 20psi and make 400whp/390tq on Pump Gas. Will I be waisting money getting the black? Is the extra 40-50whp worth it? What you guys think? The Black will also leave me with room to grow.

Get the black it will have more usable power which means more fun to drive. Yeah the stock turbo on e85 is going to have massive amounts of low end and feel like a diesel truck but the stock turbo just cant hold its torque so it lets you down quick. The black will have a flatter torque curve and that is what makes a car feel good. The stock turbo will provide a big jolt at like 3800 and die off whereas the black on pump may not pin you in the seat as hard but it lasts and lasts.

Instead of maxing out the stock turbo on E85, I would go for the Black. You'll end up with more power on pump and when you'll want more power just switch to E85.

Personally, I'd go with stock turbo E85...best all around setup I have had so far...well price/performance. Obviously my Black on E85 and built block is way more awesome...but something about not blowing up your motor and having a very easy driving car like the stock turbo is just fun.

You're very likely to blow the motor going e85 stock turbo as well though. 400 tq hitting that low, just a waiting game until a rod goes

FPBlack is a better decision in terms of investment and room for growth. You will not regret the choice.

Sorry. I would disagree with this statement. A stock turbo e85 setup would give you the best bang for the buck and a more usable power curve on the street.

The black on 93 would give you room to grow but would sacrifice low end usable torque that is nice to have on the street. It really all depends on how you will use the car and what the end goal is.

Fun toy for the street for not a lot of money=stocker+e85

Black on 93 with stock block= torque hitting a lot later with nearly the same power output but with room to grow later if that's your goal.

Thanks for all the input guys! I'm leanin pretty hard on the FP Black and I think I'll like having the room to grow. I do understand the black can blow my motor. I wanna do a really safe reliable tune. With that said what hp level is safe?? I know Ryan Gates road raced with low 600's for a couple years on the stock motor... and I know he didn't run that much power ALL the time but it was up there. You think 450whp daily is safe on the stock motor?? I was saying 400 cuz I'm pretty sure that's plenty safe.

i'm at 450 mustand on my DD, stock block. Its only 26 psi, 390 wtq. I do plan on building the engine, but I think this is a safe level for a while. I did a HPDE with 8 sessions and no issues at all

I vote black, I have always found when doing turbo projects you always seem to want more when you think it will be enough. Leaving head room is always a good thing.

When you start to push over 400wtq on stock block is when I would worry a bit.
