A black can make the power at decent boost. We have another option using a T3 turbo kit. A GTX3076R will spool up faster and make the same power on pump gas. We also have larger T3 options like a GTX35R, HTA35R, etc. One of the key benefits will in a T3 will be the extra top end power. Most of the stock frame turbochargers make peak power and taper down towards red line where the T3 variants pull all the way to red line.

If you decide to go to the turbo kit route and need help, let me know!

Sure why not? Whenever I started small on any build, I always wanted bigger later down the road. A 3076 would be better in my opinion for the 500 awhp goal. If you plan to run 22-25lbs consistently, go with the GTX version. The high pressure ratio of that wheel is more suited to higher boost and will make more power. Like Michael said, the stock frame turbos will tend to drop power towards redline. If you think you will ever want to get closer to the 600 awhp mark, I woud go with a 3576 or 3582. I wouldn't try it on a stock motor though.
