Car wont go into 5th or reverse

Car wont go into 5th or reverse
Hello all, I am having an issue getting into reverse or 5th gear. I have tried doing this in cold and warm weather. It goes into all gears except those and I also have tried shifting into first and putting into reverse. Any ideas???
