Hydrolocked evo x! Help.!
So driving down across town today when a massive storm came out of nowhere. Flash flooded one of the streets in my way home. Long story short... My intake sucked up water and locked the engine... After towing it home I took the plugs out turned it over and it shot out where like a nerf gun. I drained th old oil and flushed some new pennzoil through it. The engine turns it still shoots out water. I've never had this happen before. Anyone have advice on what to do.? Realistically... Is there any chance in hell it's gonna run.?

if your lucky you'll be just fine. Drain all the water where you can and just keep turning it over till water stops coming out put plugs back in and start the rest will evaporate with the heat so best to do it soon as you can so it doesn't rust. On the other hand you could of possibly bent a rod... mostly depends how fast your engine was going at time it sucked up the water..

Here's how it went down. I stopped before crossing... It didn't seem that deep so I went for it. I was going about 5 mph. I felt like the car wanted to be stall and immediately shut it off. And pushed it to the side of the road. I tried starting it and it would turn over but after 3 attempts. It locked out completely.

Yeah I have the ams cai. Filter is right below my headlight. I took it all apart yesterday. My intake pipe had water... My turbo was full of it and the intercooler was absolutely flooded

Ya get all the water out of everything and the motor "should" be ok. I had a car a while back that happened to and got the water out and was just fine. It wasn't turbo though so forgot about water in the intercooler and stuff so ya get all that out and hope it all works out!!

Well spent my Sunday cleaning it up. I rigged up a piece of vacuum line to a shop vac and slurped water out the cylinders and out the turbo. I even hooked up a vacuum pump to it for a little. Put it all back together and had the biggest scare of my life

It didn't turn over. Battery was dead lol put jumper cables to it.. And it started up, but i heard the unmistakable loud clank of a piece of metal hitting another... it was just my wrench that fell and hit the chassis lol motor runs fine.! No knocking noises no erratic idle.. Turbo turns and pushes air too... I monitored it on my cobb got 3 knocks at startup but none since then...
