Anyone running a aftermarket steeringwheel yet on the X?

Might lose the cruise control but maybe able to relocate the ACD button....
any pics?

nope not here....i actually want to see someone do this mod....bc....yes they will loose the AWD control and the CC

You can recover the AWD control via the center console, though the soft switch in teh S-AWC module may not accept any inputs on this line without a re-program. You will also need to deal with the wiring harness from the clockspring and do something with the air bag.

Whoa, seems to risky to do with all the electronics.

the X group-n car has an aftermarket wheel. the S-AWC control was like zip-tied to it.

well since it's a race car it's function before form. it also might be regulated by the group-n regs that it has to be the stock switch in the stock location or something. i'm sure you can rig up a nicer setup for a street car if you want. it's just a switch, so you can choose another one that suits your fancy and mount it wherever you want.
