They took pictures of everything from the bottom of car/engine bay down to the tread of my tires.

Note: They eventually decided to cover it, but insisted they needed to keep my car for 2 weeks to have it shipped (and by this I'm sure they meant "driven") to an upholstery repair company. This for a 45 minute job. I ended up doing it myself.
Yeah, the dealerships and DSMs are focking a$$holes, for the most part.

Now I think the cost of a vehicle in Britian vs here is ~25-30% more (due to volume sales and other factors); so we are talking somewhere around $57.5-$61.6K equivalency. Now if one takes the base GSR in the US with suspension, basic bolt ons (CAI, TBE) and tune we are talking about ~$41K. This means you can obtain the same performance EVO X in the US for between $16.5-$20.6K less. My point, you ask? Our aftermarket vendors are ten's of thousands dollar less than the aquisition of same through a dealership in Great Britain although they have a warranty for the FQ's. That said, the USA is still a steal when it comes to enhansing the performance window of ur car.

GSR is 5 speed standard FQ-400 is 6 Speed Standard ( $$$$ ) ( the the SST transmission) better suspenssion ( at least 1200 USD) big break kit ( 1200 USD ) Bigger turbo ( 2000 USD ) Pistons ( ??? USD ) TBE ( 1500 USD ) CAI ( 600 USD ) Rims Tyres, Carbon all over ( weight reduce ) and bla bla bla !!!

Plus the re mapping ( Ecutek is around 600 USD )

and also a Warranty on the Car !!

don't think it a GSR at this point !!!

Please at least research your information before posting.

FQ-400 #3

Look at the H-pattern on the shifter and the e-brake cover has FQ-400 #003.

too bad it's such a pain to import that shift knob and ebrake cuz it looks sick. i'd be interested in getting the fq360 pieces seeing as how they're cf wrapped but don't have the fq400 logo. way better than the options we have here in the US. also digging the white stitched interior plus leather!

Well, my experience with my Evo (and my Eclipse have been different.) I recently had my wing replaced under warranty, no problems no issues no hassles - so that's four times my Evo has had some thing done under warranty and nobody gave me **** about my mods, albeit minor, light ones.

if you like bling then the FQ is worth a money. If you go for performance then the FQ is a waste of money. Safely to reach the 400 bhp, and the other performance enhancing , is not a big deal so as money. Just a stock evo X with only a safe tune you reach or do over 330 bhp... So just think about the FQ 320 rip of... LOL
You pay a lot for the FQ name and the reputation.

well , i suggest to start looking to much more reliable place to get a real information you need. Those US magazines and so Pro websites are ....

so anyway here is one for you:

http://www.mitsubishipress.co.uk/pre...Q_400_pack.pdf

The EVO X FQ400 is 5 speed . The regular GSR 5 speed tranny.
