Perhaps you need to have your clutch line re-bled.
Every other gear shifts like when I bought the car

Well, I know it's a PITA, but you may want to consider going out of state to another dealership.

I will fix it myself before I so that... Only reason I am taking it to the dealer is because of warranty, and if it ends up not being a warrantied item then I am just going to pay for them diagnosing the problem

But that's the thing. It should 100% being a warrantied item, not questions asked. Unless the car has over 60k miles, you should be fine.

so the dealership called me today and told me my problem was that the shifter dropped down inside the shifter cage, and it was going to cost me almost $700.00 to fix, and it was a wear and tear item???i did not believe them, so i went to go look at it after work, but to my luck the tech that worked on my car was not there. so the salesman that sold me the car showed me the what they thought was the problem since there was no play in the shifter to begin with, the shifter was not lower than normal, and every other gear went in smooth.

come to find out the tech did not diagnose the car properly (or at all, just said my problem was the first thing he seen on the list) and he put gouges all in my shifter arm....

i have great luck

not yet, they are waiting for parts to come in. they had another tech diagnose the problem and he said it was the shift linkages binding up, so they are replacing all the linkages.

they said the parts should be here tuesday, so hopefully i will get it back tuesday night, or wednesday morning
