Ok guys i got this popping noise coming from the engine compartment its weird it makes the noise at diferent times it will make it if im going over rail road tracks or different bumps in the road. If i park the car for a while and then drive it the sound doesnt appear until i hit a bump to get it going but once i hit the bump its non stop. i do have eiback springs installed, but it doesnt seem like its coming from the suspension. i brought the car to mitsu and they couldnt figure it out neither. i have a 2011 x let m eknow if anyone has had a similar problem.

I've been having the same problem lately. I hear it going over tracks, bumps, driveways. Usually at lower speeds. I don't recall hearing it white driving on the highway. I still haven't had it checked out yet so I'm really no help. I just assumed it was the struts.

i thought it might be the struts as well but then again it sounds like its coming from the center i wonder if its a loose motor mount

well i tightened the strut bar and that was what the noise was thanks so much for your help!!!
