Parking Ticket While Vehicle Was Occupied??
Ok so I know this has nothing to do about the car but I can't find any info on the web and i'm pretty desperate. I recently got a parking ticket, it says "no driver, no parking receipt displayed on the dash", however my gf was sleeping in the front passenger seat at the time. Can I get this ticket waived since the vehicle was occupied? This happened in NYC btw...

What to do with your Ferrari when a NYC cop is writing you a parking ticket

In many states, the definition of "driver" is a person in the driver's seat and the keys are in the ignition. In this case, it works against you, because your GF is not a driver. But it's a good rule to know. For example, imagine that you roll out of a bar at 2 am and you're too drunk to drive. DO NOT sit in the driver's seat, listening to the radio, because that is drunk driving in many states. Sit in the passenger seat, instead.

Fighting a parking ticket is easy and free. First step is to request an appeal form or administrative review form.
Fill it out hope for the best.
If it does not get dismissed it usually goes to a 2nd appeal option.
This is usually fill out a form and meet in person.
If it does not get dismissed you have the 3rd appeal option which is court. At this time, unless you have free time, just pay it.
