I would think people generally would steal an aftermarket navigation units because they don't realize the potential value of factory units.

i think if there is an update , you just have to swap the Map memory card from a map memory card slot behind the screen of the NAV unit

not an Evo but this is how the nav looks like when its opened.

After installing the unit I just notice the lighting on the knobs on my ac the dorm lights and the lights on the radio that light up the buttons are not working! The radio and ac and my dash lights are working it's just the lighting under the buttons that don't glow and the ac knobs won't light and the dome lights are not working what could it be

So maybe just a blown fuse fingers cross! Like I mention before the radio works and the navigation works just fine just done have any lights on button so I can see what I'm pushing at night as well as my ac knobs not lighting up and dome lights

My unit is working great but I was told that this harness wasn't needed what exactly is this harness for! Like I mention before the unit navigation and radio and everything is working just fine just don't know what this harness is for and if my vehicle needs it on the back of the unit the grey connector alone is the only one not plug in

I installed my unit into my 2014 outlander sport everything is working just fine but the navigation harness couldn't be plug in cause I couldn't find the plug to connect the harness. As I mention before everything is working just fine just asking what exactly is that harness for and is it only needed if I was adding an aftermarket radio. The only port that is missing a connector is the grey port everything else is plug in.
