Boost Leak or Bigger Issue?
Hey Guys,
So my car started running a little odd yesterday. The turbo was very laggy, and the car felt lie it lost a great deal of power. Now it is also idling poorly and my AFRs are jumping around a bit. I've taken a couple of videos so you can hear the idle and see my wideband. I've also uploaded a video of my injector noise to see if it's normal. I installed ID1000 injectors about 1.5 weeks ago and the catr has been running great since it was tuned, but the injectors have always made an odd hum with the ignition on.
I should note that the car has gotten worse since my ride home from work yesterday. It is now running terrible coming into boost. It's laggy, but also cuts in and out (like fuel cur or flooding out spark). I stayed in the throttle while logging to see if I can get the boost high enough to determine the wastegate wasn't stuck and the car completely cut out at 23psi and felt like I hit a brick wall. After that happened I got a CEL for the 1st time.
I scanned it and got the following codes:
P0606 Engine ecm/pcm processor fault
P0201 Injector 1 circuit malfunction
P0202 Injector 2 circuit malfunction
P0203 Injector 3 circuit malfunction
...I don't know if the codes indicate the ECU is actually going bad, or if they're false just because of what happened when the car felt like it lost fuel and id due to a massive boost leak? I plan on going out to the store to build a boost leak tester.
Car info:
2013 Evo X GSR about 13k miles.
TBE, AMS Intake, Grimmspeed 3-port, Forge BOV, ID1000, Cobb AP V3 tuned on ATR.
Idle:

there's no way all three injectors went bad at once (three legit injector faults codes), it's gotta be the wiring
my guess is that a harness on the fuel injectors popped loose or something like that, they are daisy chained 1-2-3-4 from right to left, so if there's a fault/break/cut/whatever in the harness between injector 3 and 4, it would also wipe out injectors 2 and 1. That could cause the ECU to fault as well since it has only 1/4 of the load it's used to. I guess it's possible that something in the injector harness shorted out the ECU, but that would be really odd since there isn't much voltage there, and, the ECU has like 4 fusible links right there.
tl;dr check fuel injector wiring/harnesses w/trailer light tester or multimeter, reset ECU, see what happens
there's also metal clips if you used the PNP adapters that need clipped in, if they weren't snapped in just perfect, they might have wiggle loose on injectors 1,2 and 3, which make them not inject fuel, faults out, runs like hell, etc, etc

So I reseated the clip on the far right of the injector harness and pulled the fuel pump relay to try my stock one again and it started up and ran mint. Pulled the oem relay and put the blue one back in, and still runs mint???
Happy the car is running, but very nervous it's only temporary and there's a electrical gremlin somewhere.

Far right is #4
If it's shorted or not connected, it screws up 3,2, and one
Re flash your ECU to reset your fuel trims too
