15 Evo x Oil and clutch

So I'm currently at 2500 miles and my clutch is already slipping before its first oil change.Do you guys think the dealer will replace it.Also when I called to schedule the oil change Mitsubishi is recommending basic oil for the car was wondering if this is a error or true. The service tech told me that was weird as well

They won't replace the clutch. That's a wear and tear item. I would advise using either a synthetic or a really high quality non synthetic. I use Valvoline VR1 non synthetic racing oil in my daily driven Evo X and have no issues. Do not use cheap oil

Seriously? Don't you people know how to drive a manual? People i know are still on stock clutch with over 75k miles. my clutch is like NEW and i am at 16k. Weird. Anyway, whatever you do just go with mobile 1 synthetic. or anything synthetic!

I know everyone's got their own opinions on oil and break-in, and these things can vary greatly on your climate and how you drive, but does anyone subscribe to the ol' notion of breaking in a new engine with conventional oil, and switch to synthetic after about 3000 miles?

Man if your clutch goes at 2500 you need to find someone FAST to help you figure out how to drive it better.

You should get over 100k out of your clutch if you know how to drive it properly.

Expecting to change a clutch every 10000 miles is ****ing madness.

2500 miles is more than enough to ruin a clutch if you don't know what you're doing.

Some other guy just went through his clutch at 800 miles so...
And no, they will not cover the cost and you should not have an oem put back in anyway.

Many people learn to drive manual in these things. Takes more than 2500 to kill a clutch, no? Meaning, user beating on it.
