Hello
I just joined the forums and wanted to say hello. I'm an owner of a 2014 GTR and looking for a EVO X MR to compliment it. Just trying to justify paying around $40,000 for a car that has base lancer seats. Anybody know of some good deals at certain dealerships. Thanks

Picture number 4 with the red EF Civic Si in the back ground is my daily beater car. The GTR is my once in a while to drive car (only has 450 miles as of today...bought brand new 1 year ago). Looking to purchase or lease an EVO MR for my off days from work.

I have no problem about getting a 2015 EVO MR....I just want the purchase price to reflect the missing seats.

Damn... i must of did something wrong in my life.. I'm jealous lol. Umm... yeah it is going to be very difficult to find those seats. i would highly recommend just looking for a 2014 that way you dont need to replace the seats and mess with any sensors or installation. Remember, most dealerships will ship a car to your local dealer. so look around..

Not sure what the dealers are like in your city but you should be able to find a good deal in the Los Angeles area. I flew down to get mine and the price they gave me for my '15 + the used recaros I just bought was well worth it and way cheaper than buying a marked up '14 at the time.

The 2015 Evo seats are fine. Sure, I would rather have Recaros, but get over it people.
My zero option GSR is a very honest car where everything has a purpose. It is also a much softer edged car than I would have suspected from owner reviews that I read beforehand.

The 2 deals that I'm currently working on right now:
1. The last brand new 2014 EVO MR in the country...dealership asking $57,000 before taxes.
2. Brand new 2015 EVO MR...dealership asking $37,499.
When I get home I will attach pics of my GTR getting delivered.

Wow 57k holy crap. Much better going with a 15 then in my opinion. I haven't swapped recaros in yet but from what I understand it should be a straight swap and if you look around there's some pretty good deals on them that come around every now and then. My good friend just got an entire 14' interior for 500 bucks from a kid who's evo was about to get repossessed

Like the others said, finding a year old car might just be a better deal. You won't eat the depreciation, and a lot of folks baby their cars for the first year, then realize they want something else.
