my evo x a 2009 model sst
recently had a brand new ecu coded in with no tune, for some reason my boost is going up to 25psi and then starting to studder.

before my ecu was damage from a bench i was getting this boost problem when i change the stock actuator, but since then i have gone back stock

any reason this boost spike is taking place

id take it to a tuner and have them check it out

Was the actuator installed correctly? Its not stuck or adjusted right? I'd also check out your hose configuration.

You can take it to a tuner and see what they say. I will tell you my Stock 15 MR spikes to 27psi for a split second and then goes back to like 22-23psi when I mash the throttle from a stop. Another buddy of mine who had an 09 MR before his current GSR saw as high as 28psi on a stock tune and set up.

its a new ecu without a tune so the boost will hit high all the way to 30psi

ill get a tune and see if it sorts out
