Request: Hella Supertone horn Install

Picked up the hella Super tone horns for my X but don't want to mess anything up and not really sure on how these things hook up.

Can anyone that has install them on there X please maybe post a DIY with pics if possible or at least a detailed walk through on installing them????

i hate the stock horn. ill be replacing it soon as well. as for install... i say find where the horn is... take it off, check the connections, and connect it the same way on the new one shouldnt be hard

No the Hella comes with a splitter/resistor (can't remember the name) that you need to power and hook up to the original harness like a daisy chain.

^ yep! what he said, so I really dont want to mess anything up, so was wondering if anyone might have a write up or something to make it easier.

Splitter/resistor = relay

is there a write-up for wiring 2 pairs? i remember reading it somewhere and its been done on subarus.

that is for installing two horn, not 2 pair.

damn those horns look way out of place, should try and mount them under the intercooler or something

but i'm looking for a place to mount the train horn i took off my evolution 8. it looks like there's space where the stock muffler went. good excuse to get an exhaust.
