how to install different front seats - with no fault codes
#36
this information worked for me. here is the old school testing we did with the control being the stock ralliart seat as a whole.
0) started with ralliart seat in the car with ralliart blackbox+ralliart weights)
1) we tried to swap in an evo x seat (failed)
2) we tried to use the ralliart black box + evo x seat (failed)
3) we put the stock seat back in and SRS lite went away.
4) we then used the ralliart black-box + ralliart weights +evo x seat (without evo x black box + evo x weights) PRICELESS - because everything worked and you don't need to go get programmed.
Side note: I would still ask the service guys to check out everything and make sure no codes exist.. but over all its working.
I'll report back if things change.

Okay, sorry to revive a dead thread! I made a resistor for my seat. Reads 1.963 when tested under load; it will not shut off the srs light. I have teamed up with a tech at my dealer and it keeps coming up with improper squib resistance (seat airbag) what do I do??? Thanks in advance

There is a bump in the floor under one of the seats, which causes one of the mounting points to mount on top of this bump. This means that you would not be able to use one in place of the other, as the brackets mount in different ways.
I can't recall which seat has the bump under it, but I THINK it's the Driver's.

Even though this question is over a year old, I'll provide some insight.

I've searched and read the multitude of threads on this, but no one seems to mention using an actual connector with the resistors. Does anyone know what the name/type of connector that yellow one is for the seat airbag? I'd like to have a clean setup so I can go back to stock easily.
