No sir... I didn't have to take the bumper off. it's a tight squeeze but doable. If I remember right, I think I had to pull out the coolant reservoir on the passenger side and unbolt that black piece on the driver's side. Sorry, I can't fully remember. Lol

I did this mod and i ran into an issue.
Is it normal that my former drl are still on. I thought this would make of my fogs my only drl just like on your picture. I dont have hids on my low beams. They therefore come on when i releases the parking brake. Would hids fix this and make of my fogs my only drl?

You need to buy the DRL by pass to disable your low beams.
