How To Install FUSE into a Non FUSE lancer
You could say that this is the finale of this thread here below,
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...bluetooth.html
i say finale, because although the link suggested that they were successful in installing the FUSE system, it was quite hard to follow and what exactly was involved.
i take no credit in this, if any, its just that i typed it here for all to see in case they would like to add it a later time. imo, it is a nice feature to have. all credit goes to Phantom-Evo-X.
Parts needed :
1. BT module equipped FUSE - Part # 8785A025 Pic 1
2. FUSE Capable head unit from a 2011 up lancer (No Picture here)
3. 2 OEM Female Pins Pic 2
4. C-135 Connector to the BT Pic 3 (Shown with the required extension of 3 wires, gray, purple, and pink)

Installation in no particular order.
1. I cut the old BT Connector (Pic 1)
2. Follow color chart (Pdf file)
3. when you have done number 2 it will look something like this Pic 2
4. Pic 3 is my finished product. with shrink tubes.
Note : You will see a red and yellow wire with the red heat shrink tube. this is no longer needed hence i looped them together and put the red heat shrink tube. Pic 2 and 3.
On Pic 2 and 3, you will see 3 wires on the left going down. these are the additional 3 wires that are headed to the main radio sockets. 2 of which will require the OEM Female pin and the 3rd (Pink) wire will need to be tapped to a pre existing wire, Pink as well.

Lets move to the main radio harness.
There are 3 main Radio connectors. Pull the smallest of the 3. Pic 1 - You can see at the bottom of this connector that there are 2 empty slots. The 2 OEM female connector goes into these 2 while the 3rd wire (pink) get tapped onto a pre existing pink wire on the same connector. Pic 2
Pic 2 also shows the 3 wires travelling from the BT Module (Passenger side airbag) to the smallest main Radio connector.
Pic 3 shows the 2 OEM Female pins into those empty slots, the gray and black wires.

I found the part number for the C135 connector if anyone needs it:
1565380-1 TE Connectivity
http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...vity/1565380-1
The pins are pn:
1123343-1
This is likely the same connector family for most of the connection in the EVO
1565380-1 C135 Plug
1123343-1 C135 Female Pins

MMCS doesn't require BT, but as far as I can tell the N04/5 should work. My 2010 MRT has BT but not FUSE, so I have to put this connector on to adapt to the new FUSE BT module I got.

I have a 2010 Evo X SE and I had the Factory head unit with a single disc.
Car has the factory phone controls on the steering wheel and I never had a problem connecting my phone to the car via Bluetooth.
Today I installed a factory N05 head unit. I don't appear to have the option for mobile phone on the screen. I am a bit confused and can't figure out why this could be.
I bought the unit off of eBay and it's in immaculate condition and everything else works flawlessly.
Also the radio still thinks it is in the previous state and not mine. How do I reorient the gps?
Thanks
