Philips 6700k Bulbs installed

Before I had those crappy 6000k Bulbs made by some random JDM company that end up looking like crap because the passenger side bulb was dull vs the driver side. This time I didn't cheap out on the bulbs as I have replace them with $200 for a set of Philips 6700k bulbs. They have a hint of purple when looked at straight on but as you can see in the picture of the beam it shoots out, it's purely white. I'll try to take a night shot when it gets dark today to show how much more luminance it is vs my old 6000k's. Now there is a nice even beam pattern from both headlights.

The link below was my old 6000k crap jdm bulbs that almost looked blue. I like these philips they are more whiter.

New night shots.
Beam set at lvl 4 pointing at the lowest point on the floor.

Now set at lvl 0 furthest away.

Yeah I can't do much about the cutoff since that is factory shielding in the projector. The bulbs can possibly be too bright for there own good and it glares over the cuts. IONO. But yea I'll take some night shots later today. That beam pattern you see was taken roughly 2 feet from the headlights.

The stock 4300K bulbs are brighter than 6700K. The higher the number, the less light output the bulbs have, they don't get brighter.

It is a nice looking color though.

It was great till like i said the passenger side bulb was ***ed up. It had no hot spot at the center of the right bulb like the left bulb. The quality of that bulb was pure crap because it was a D2C style bulb vs a D2S. I read in hidplanet forums that D2C bulbs are duller in color and brightness. So I ditch those crap *** 6000k random JDM bulb for some OEM factory brand even though they cost $200 they are so much nicer with a perfect beam pattern, no real dead spots from far away but you can see a small black dot on the very first pic i posted but that was taken 2 feet away from the headlight.

BTW, the pics doesn't justify the true color being outputed from these bulbs. Due the camera quality and lighting conditions, it looks very blue with a hint of purple. If you where there with me taking the pics, the bulbs are outputing a nice white color with light purple border.

LOL it's like you see the color of the rainbow in one of the pics. It's like blue to light purple to white to yellow.

The fogs are PIAA 2500k Plasma Ion H11 bulbs. You can get a pair for $50 on ebay. They are real JDM bulbs and high quality.

I like my fogs a lot. It adds some color to what could possibly be a boring front end if it were all white or bluish. PIAA makes 3 colors of H11 bulbs at 2500k, 4000k, 6000k
