I was wondering if a rim with specs like 18x10.5 114.3 Bolt Pattern would be bad for performance ?

Depends on what kinda performance. 0-60 times, 1/4 miles, Track times, Skid Pad, ......

Depends on the weight of the wheel and tire.

If they are heavier than stock (likely) they will make the car slower in a straight line (more rotating mass to get moving). However, if the tires are good you should be able to corner better.

Wheels that wide might require some fender work.
