With coilovers its not the issue of the shock body being skinny or fat, but more an issue with the spring perch sitting much lower. So far the only springs I would consider are Swifts and Muellerized.

But if you go with Swift, you wont be killing any wheel gap. You'll still be uber high.

It's actually not that bad. I just use de-greaser and a pressure washer and it cleans instantly.

wow...what kind of de greaser are you using? are you still using any elbow grease after you spray it off? or do you spray on and spray off and walk away?

No idea what brand, it is one at the dealership I work at. No elbow grease, just wash off and they are spotless.

The performance gains from spring replacements ( be it Swift or Eibach) is meager, if any. So I wouldnt boast huge gains from Swift. If you want a "real" suspension upgrade, its coil overs. If you just want a replacement spring that will add a "little more" performance and stance, most springs (even Eibach) will do..

this is a silly statement. springs can completely transform a car's handling characteristics (for better or worse)
