Rim sizing 2008 Evo X

Hey guys, I just got my dream car (the Evo X) and I got it with some POS TR Motorsport rims that don't look right at all.. I'm currently running 18x8.5 all around and my rims don't stick out of the body at all. I want to get a rim that will be flush and maybe even stick the tire out just a tad. How would I go about doing this and is it possible to do without rolling fenders/springs/coilovers/etc ?

I want it to sit kind of aggressive and I don't want any part of the rim hiding under the fender/body. Any options or pictures would be greatly appreciated!!

Just a question, I have been searching and can't quite find a good answer. I have Swift Spec-R springs and I was wondering whats a good offset to ensure any 18x9.5 rim is at least flush with my fender? Also will 18x9.5 rims rub with swift springs?

The Evo X love 18x9.5 +22 wheel set ups. You can run this size on swift springs and only require a roll on the rear fenders. Any lower offset or wider size will require heavy fender work.

8x9.5 +15 or +35s, 265 tires with OEM suspension??? I'll eventually be upgrading to Ohlins R/T coilovers.

Since the Stock Enkeis are +38, would the Raijins in +35 have any clearance issues?

been thinking about picking up the vsxx 18x9.5 +23 and +26.
so to rotate tires i'd actually have to swap front and rear tires (not rims) unless i want the larger lip on the front correct? i'd be rolling 265/35/18 all around on PSS's.

Will there be any issue running 245/45/18 on a stock MR BBS wheel? Trying to see if adding a taller sidewall will increase longitudinal grip.

Figure i'd add this as when i quickly searched it wasn't on here and figure someone might wanna know about this set up. I run this for winter mode...

Swift sport springs
265/35/18 Blizzack LM-32
18x9.5 rim +20 offset Rota Grids
No Pulled or rolled fenders... at full lock might rub a smidge on the wheel-well liners.

What about 265/35 on 18x9.5" +30 offset? Stock suspension.

Will it rub or clear the calipers?

I just got winter tires put on last week, Michelin Xi3 in stock size (245/40/18) on stock wheel (Evo X MR BBS 18x8.5 +38). I noticed I'm getting some slight rubbing from my front right at full lock. Does anyone have any clue, what gives? Is my alignment jacked? Want to hear your ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind guys. Thanks to the brand new tire and it being a winter tire at that, it is really beefy! Because of that, it was rubbing on the front of the fender liner at full lock. Took a heat gun and shaped it forward a bit. Voila! Problem solved.

Curious though, has anyone else experienced this when putting on brand new winter tires at stock size? Anyone?

I imagine the only way to fix that particular issue would be to return the wheels (or perhaps spacers). Also, may want to provide what the wheels are (ie. specs). Plenty of threads on here about wheel fitment though, I'd recommend doing some research.

Cheers mate.

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 series

Good Afternoon,

I am looking into having a custom set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels made for my new 2015 EVO X GSR.

The specs I am looking at are 18X9.0 +30 offset. The question is has anyone ran these wheels and do they have any issues clearing the Brembos? Thanks for your input.
