Has anyone used this tire? It is a very good deal but how does it perform? 50 dollars cheaper per tire than the hankook v12.

sorry, search function finally worked. found a thread where people are talking about them.

I guess my question now is are the V12s worth the extra 50? is there another cheap alternative that I should look at?

Tires and brakes are two components I'll never skimp on, especially for a car like the Evo.

1. Spend $36000+ on Evo X - check.
2. Mod engine for more power - check (assuming here).
3. Get cheap Taiwanese tires - wut?

Hankook is having a $60 rebate right now.

$140 ea = $560. $50 shipping. -$60 rebate...$550 to door. $20 to mount ea. $630 on car.

To my point...$630 for tires that are known good. Or get cheap-o rental car tires and neuter the life out of the car.
