So I have 18x9.5 Grid's and I'm lowered on Swift springs, what size Blizzak's would be smart to get for this kind of basic setup?

Narrowest tire best for ice/snow traction. The WS80 in 235/40-18 will fit a 9.5" wheel fine. Also a good size if you're dropped.

Why not get a second set of wheels? 18x8", +30 and 225/45/18 tires?

Since I have to take off the wheels in order to cross rotate them anyway, I figured I'd just re-use the same rims.

A shorter-than-OE size for snow tires is, um, not great advice. Yes, the wheel is too wide for the optimal choice, but 245/40/18 is better for an X than 235/40/18.

I run stock tire size blizzak ws70 in xxr 9.75. I've never had any issues with the stretch or any problems running in the snow and ice.

There's only a three tenths of an inch difference in tire diameter between them. Hardly enough for the car to know or there be any issues.

Stock suspension, kept scraping the bottom of the front bumper on the road when coming out of driveways

Less ground clearance, less sidewall = firmer ride, increased acceleration, increased gas consumption, terrible on a road with potholes, I can keep going. I was on the stock 8.5" wheels.

I'm going to 225/45/18 on a 8 inch wheel this year. Oh what a difference 5% should make.
