brake service light.

So when I'm driving accelerating easy my brake system service required comes on. I have no vibration in the pedal no fading out. The fluid is topped off. Could it possibly be a sensor that is dirty or shorting out.

You should check your brake pads. The light can also mean its worn out.

The light does not mean the pad is worn out. We do not have a pad sensor. Check your brake reservoir plug and double check your fluid levels.

Anyone else have experience with this? I just started getting it at least once a trip. It just happens on slow turns or under hard acceleration. I just got my master clutch cylinder replaced so I know I have full liquid, and I checked. I have okay pads left too.

Why dont you just go get the fault code read and it will give you an idea of where to start.

There is no code associated with the brake service. I have one for the rear O2 sensor (due to high flow cat), but that's it. The light comes on, but no code.

Theres got to be some kind of fault code associated with the light. Maybe its a wheel speed sensor or something but i would think there would be an abs/traction control code for that.
