aftermarket coilovers which maintain same ride high and travel?

are there any aftermarket coilovers which maintain same ride high and travel? I like the MR suspension but they need replacing. I want to keep the same performance, ride high and travel.

I'm not sure why you would want coilovers if you want the exact same thing as the stock MR suspension, why don't you just buy a new set of the MR stock suspension setup?

Most coilovers have adjustable ride height but they will be a few inches lower than the stock setup by default. They will also be stiffer.

If you want to maintain maximum travel, comfort, and ground clearance while not sacraficing handling or running a cheap set of near stock level components I would run these:

http://fealsuspensionstore.com/produ...03-07-evo-789/

These are going to come with upgraded Swift springs already! And, they come with the great aftermarket valving that you are going to enjoy no matter the ride height. I can get you these on a nice deal too.

I would but they are quite expensive. I am looking at slightly used as well.

Ah I see, fair enough. Could go for a aftermarket spring and dampener setup instead of going full coilovers too

I changed my MR Bilstein suspension to a set of kw v3

Omfg! Night and day difference!

Go ride in an EVO with coilovers and be born again!

why were a bunch of posts discussing Feal coilovers deleted from this thread? mostly between me and hispanicpanic...

I don't remember either of us (or anyone else for that matter) posting anything inappropriate...

Why not just get another set of the OEM bilsteins (like a low mileage used set)? The advantage of coilovers is their adjustability. Getting coilovers just to mimic the OEM suspension doesn't make much sense to me.

I am, i mentioned that earlier in the thread. But if there is a set of coilover that are reasonably priced, better and give me the same ride height then why not check them out?

Coilovers require periodic service/rebuilding, are more prone to corrosion, and will almost always be noisier than OEM Bilsteins. These are all things that are worth it if you want/require a performance upgrade over the stock Bilsteins. But if you are happy with the OEM ride quality, then save yourself the headaches and stay with OEM Bilsteins. Just my 2 cents.
