Next mod, not too sure of which path to take???

Car = 2006 EVO IX

Mods can be found in sig but for the lazy:

BR 02 Housing
UR 3inch downpipe
Helix 3inch Testpipe
UR 3inch Cat-Back (No Neckdowns)
Hallman PRO RX MBC (Set to 23psi)
Walboro 255 Fuel Pump
HKS RS Suction Intake
Nisei Lower Intercooler Pipe
Sean Ivey Tuned

Debating between these mods:

1. Cams
Some have good results, others not so much. There has been such a big debate on which ones to choose for the IX that I am still unclear as to which ones will perform the best.

2. Methanol Injection
Seems like a good option. I would like a kit with a safe injection module, but I would need an EBC to run that instead of a MBC. Also if my injectors are close to 100% duty cycle at 23psi how would meth allow me to run say 27psi safely. I would probably have to invest in a wideband too. Also which kit do you guys prefer I was looking at the snow performance.

3. FMIC
After doing much research I narrowed it down to Buschur Delux and AMS. But I am worried about these large cores causing a noticable difference in lag. I have read posts where one gentleman took off his Nisei FMIC because it caused a big increase in lag.

4. Air to Water Intercooler (Flame Suit On)
Seen it done on a few STI's with great gains and a decrease in spool. Cons is COST! Looking around $1,800...

You're probably going to get more power/torque out of the meth.

Cams are going to be more reliable.

The ic's are not that important to get at this point, I don't think.

cams

Well if your worried about lag. Cams and fmic will either do both. Cams will move power to up top. You'll notice more top end
I have everything you have. I got both at same time..so..I dunno. Did you get o2 housing yet?

How do you like your AGP FMIC?

What were you dyno numbers with your mods in sig?

why not just ask sean.

1. wideband
2. If you do alky make sure you can monitor everything in the system, flow, pressure ect.
3. Air to water though expensive, they work.Your call.Same with the IC.
4.Clutch in the near future.

Good luck and nice numbers, man 100 % duty cycle is pushing it and is hard to believe @23 psi. If it is true then injectors would be first.

Clutch I don't really consider a mod personally because it is a wearable item and I expect it to go.

My friend on 23psi was at 95% duty cycle on his injectors. Never tested my car so I have to find out.

I am going to contact Sean to get his thoughts.

Thanks for the help fellas
