Oil filter

Im going to be changing my oil with mobil 1 and was wondering what oil filter I should get?

I use fram filters. just look in the book at the parts store. i think its ph9688 but double check.

How about the one made for the car from Mitsubishi?

factory is always good to use . they acutally have a check valve in filter most after market filters do not have the valve in filter . just use factory or make sure it has valve in filter .

just order a bunch of oem filters

In all honesty though, there are a lot of good choices, it just depends what's convenient for you. OEM Mitsu, Mobil 1, Bosch, K&N, Amsoil, & Purolator PureOne are all filters I'd feel comfortable running on my car. I've always run the OEM filters in my DSM's, IX, and X. In my wife's WRX I use the PureOne filter the majority of the time.

Actually depends on the FRAM filter you buy. The Fram X2 or extended guard as they call it now is one of the best oil filters on the market.

Stay away from the Orange one though

***** been covered more times on more automotive sites then you could believe
