Hosting Images for Forum Use
Step 1
Go to Imgur.com. Click on the Computer button to upload an image from your computer

Step 2
Browse your computer for the image (or images) you want to upload, select the images, and click Open

Step 3
You have the option to add all of the images you upload into an album so that they are grouped together when other people view them.
If you wish to add more images to this upload, you can click the browse your computer button and repeat Step 2, you can drag and drop images onto the screen, you can enter a url of an image you wish to re-upload on Imgur.com, or you can paste from clipboard whatever image you have copied and upload it.
When you've selected all the images you wish to upload, click Start Upload

Step 4
Once the images have finished uploading you will see this screen. On the bottom you can select what size thumbnail you wish to view. Typically the Medium or Large sizes are best depending on how many images you have. If each image will be on a separate line, Large works best. If the images will be multiples on a single line, Medium or even Small work best. If you are posting items for sale, Large is the best option to use. If you're posting many images from something like a car show, Medium would be best. In any case, users can always click on the images to see the full-size image
By clicking the small notepad icon it will copy the text to your clipboard so you can easily paste it where you need in your post

BBCode and Linked BBCode are the two formats you want to use for forums. For this walk-through I used BBCode because I had no need to link to a larger version of the image. If you want to post a thumbnail but link to the full resolution if someone clicks on the image, select the thumbnail size with the links on the bottom and then copy the Linked BBCode text
