would this work?
hey guys i dont know if this has been discussed before in the forum or new idea or somethin but say your catalytic converter is still on your car and you get another pipe that starts before the cat and goes around it and meets up again where the cat ends then u have some sorta valve that u could switch the valve to the cat or switch it to the pipe. giving it the apearence of a legal car and able to pass emission without putting the cat back on.
Im new to the forum i hope I explained it correctly could this work?

Possible, but not probable or practical. You'd be better off just getting a high flow cat. Street legal and will pass any test a cop can throw at it. ...and uh...yeah, naturally your stock cat was damaged when you went over a speedbump so it had to be replaced.
