Reset Service Engine Soon Light
#3
Uh oh. What did you do to set the light off?
You need to determine what caused the light. Otherwise, it will come back after you reset it.
Here's how you do it. Remember to let the car idle:

Ignore the fuse method because it doesn't apply to the Evo.
And this thread is about to be moved. You posted in the wrong forum.

I have no idea what I did. I just installed the BOV and drove the car I would say, 5 hours or so with ZERO problems and it came on. The car still runs fine but it seems the turbo spools slower now. I am not sure if the aformentioned problems are common with VTA BOV on the EVO but it is PISSING ME OFF! I will probably be sending it back if I can't make it work. That really sucks because when it works, It sounds Awesome.
By the way, does the top screw off to allow shims to be added?
Thanks
