Carbon Fiber Repair! Don't trash it, let's fix it!

Cracks, dings, scratches, I can repair most of it

I can also modify your existing carbon for a dry-look appearance, tints, color shift, peals, pearl matching, etc. If you can think of it, I've probably done it.

Some carbon fiber damage simply cannot be fixed-but some can.

Fixable:
-heat damage
-crack throughs
-peeling gelcoat (APR wings)
-sun damage
-yellowing (can be reduced but not always eliminated)
-fiberglass backing damage
-pinholes from low grade manufacturing

Not Fixable:
-cracks that separate weaves in between resin layers
-holes where all material is missing
-spiral fractures

The examples below are some I've done over the years.

The radiator shroud belongs to pinegreen, it's a PWJDM that was broken in half and so thin that light shone through it. I repaired it, reglassed the backside of it, coated it. On top layer, I redid the finish and matched a platinum pearl into the coating.

The Vortex Generator was a Seibon purchased for a 2012, but the antenna hole was too big. I custom made a patch in matching 2x2 twill, resined it into the existing piece, and refinished the entire top. The back and face was filled with body filler to eliminate the rain grooves not present on that year.

I do occasionally work with Kevlar, and have some on a car going in Modified Mag sometime this year. I'll update it when that issue comes out.

This is the same piece (steering wheel cover for Evo X)

picture one is with a purple tint and flat finish dry look

the second picture is the same piece that I redid to keep the purple tint, then added color shifting pearl over it, then a blue pearl tone. The effect is that it changes color from purple to blue to transparent as light passes over it

The back corner has no color from this angle, but with the light from the other side, it would look purple, and the side closest to use would look clear

magic

and there's more than clearcoat on there, there's also semi-translucent mid bases as well

I was at my paint shop one day getting supplies. Their House of Kolor delivery guy dropped an entire pallet (House of Kolor stuff is $500+ a gallon or more...expensive accident) and busted half the cans open. So I bought what they could salvage and kinda went to town with it

pillar sale/account closing July 19th-

look up carbon fiber repair on Youtube, and look at how it's used on boats/canoes-similar concepts, and you can apply it to your own repairs!

I don't sell any of that stuff, but you can find it online or check the active vendor's section.

Thanks again-
