Dealers in the US are saying the same (at least in the Northeast NY/NJ/CT area. 2013 ordering is over and any orders placed in March will be 2014 model year Evo X. They haven't been able to go into their system and order a 2014 yet, so they can't confirm options or pricing or if there are any changes for 2014.
Tristan, can you confirm if any changes are coming on the 2014?

The Evo X specs and styling have not significantly changed since the late 2007 debut. If the 2014 is essentially the current car, that will be 6 years with same engine, with no increase in HP/TQ, with no significant styling changes, with same interior aside from some trim and gauge changes; essentially the same damn car for over half a decade!
It's no wonder Mitsubishi Motor sales are in the toilet and their market share is shrinking. The Evo is a great sports car, but it must evolve as it's namesake implies, not sit still and become irrelevant. It's arrogant and stupid for Mitsubishi management to let their halo car become stagnant and stale. IMO, this kind of contempt for enthusiast and owners will further alienate the brand and hurt repeat business.

My local dealer says the deadline for final ordering 2014 is next week. Says that dealers can only order one per dealership. There may or may not be a second order, but most likely not. I just put down my deposit for possibly 1 of the last dozen or so of 2014 in BC.

How can you order a car when no one can tell you what factory packages/options it comes with? Are u just paying upfront to get in line so that you will be one of the 1st to do the factory order?
No one here in the US can tell me if there are color changes, whether certain packages like the touring package will be dropped, etc.
That is what I really want to know.
