running over 400whp with the power FC?

Would like to know how much hp you guys running with the power FC? I talked to a guy that had both the power FC and HKS V pro and he told me after 400hp the Power FC wasnt as smooth as the V Pro when he upgraded his turbo. If your running a bigger turbo how is the drivability and idle?

Thanks

Well we just put in the "White Rabbit" from FP and the cars hauls A$$. We have not had it dyno'd yet, but will this weekend. We made 311whp on the stock turbo and pump gas. The car definately feels a lot quicker. No problems with idle or driveability.

I'm running the PowerFC D-Jetro and have the following mods:

TB Exhaust
272Intake, 264 Exhaust HKS Cams
Fidanza Cam Gears
White Rabbit turbo
Buscher SMC alcohol kit
ARP head studs
Buscher Upper intercooler pipe (low cost version)
Custom made lower intercooler pipe
Cone filter modified intake by MZM

Before the alky kit, the car dynoed at MZM at 297 HP which should translate to about 350-360 on a Dynojet at the very least. I felt a pretty good bump from the alky but have not had the opportunity to get it back on the dyno yet.

The car runs great and the PowerFC seems to be doing a wonderful job of controlling everything nicely.

Hope this helps,

Tony

Hard to explain..... When the car got road tuned the other day, Mark from TT dialed in the AFR's first, then worked with the timing. After all that, we turned on the alky kit and had to do some AFR adjusting since the kit was set to start spraying at about 18 lbs of boost and max out at about 25. Reduced fuel some more up top and then was able to advance timing about 6-7 degrees more.

The car spools like stock but never runs out of breath all the way to redline now. I'm hoping that i can get it back to Austin to get it on the dyno soon. Feels great though, hoping for somewhere in the 11's at the track even though that's not what I got the turbo for.......

I made 392 on the stock turbo on 93/alkie. Now my car makes 585 on 93/alkie and it still drives like stock. Both times it was dynoed on a mustang dynometer.

I actually had a friend in the car the other day that commented how stock-like the car drives but it's not the standalone that makes the car drive smooth it's the person tuning it. I suggest getting the datalogit which makes tuning a lot easier.

There are a bunch of cars in the UK and Japan running much more than 500 whp with the PFC. There are also a few cars here running 500+ whp and the PFC (the Sparco EVO to name one).

I was told you can now find them on Ebay for $1000 with the Commander.

I've done quite a few cars with Power FC at 350-400 WHP and all have ran comfortably and reliably.

We just installed the PC D-jetro on our black shop EVO. Made more power than we were ever able to make before. We made 550 on our AWD MD which has never been messed with, so it reads extremely low. Stock EVO's won't go over 215 on this dyno. That is about 649 on a Dynojet.
