AFR Tuning Question

So recently I put a gtx3076r on my evo ix. Tagged along for the ride is a set of PTE1200 injectors.

I ran into a weird problem when tuning the injectors. I initially placed in a generalized scaling and latency to get the car started. After doing some logs and changing the latencies the trims ended up being +-3% so I figure I would do some WOT tuning. When I went WOT I would hit 10:1 afr even though my fuel tables were set up to show 11.5:1 afr. I first tried to change my AFR table to lean out the system but nothing changed. I made cells close to 12:1 without seeing change. As one would do, I raise the scaling, leaning out WOT to match it closer to the AFR table.

I was able to get the actual afr numbers close to the demanded 11.5:1 by changing the scaling however some fine tweaking had to be done. I started to change the AFR table again and whenever I made a change, nothing seemed to happen as a result.

So my main question. Why is my AFR table not being responsive to changes I am making?

I am using the alt map setup because Im running E85. Manual boost controller.

Thoughts are welcomed.
One thing I did notice is that my afr feedback looks like a negative slope when doing a 3k-redline pull. Starting at 12afr at the beginning of the pull and 11afr near the end of the pull.

fyi, im leaning towards it being lean spool of some sorts.

....nothing but lies...scratch that idea... Lean spool is disabled.

Just a quick update. I did a boost leak test last night and find a major leak at the throttle body seals. Anything over 3psi air was gushing out. I also found another at a coupler. Once I swap the seals I will update on the afr issue.

Sounds like you found your problem

We will see. I was able to get a friend to hand deliver some seals that would have been sitting at the post office all weekend. Time will tell!

A little update. Fixed the throttle body boost leak. Also I re boost leak tested and I found no leaks. I also installed a forge bov.
Issue still present.
Only thing I could find online is that the fuel return hose is clogged, therefore it overruns your injectors. Doubtful, but I'll pull the return line off and give it a good blowy.

Update FOR ALL 444 people that noticed my thread.

Fuel return tested good. Im not out of ideas. There must be something within the tune making it do this during WOT pulls.

At this point it sounds like it's not a mechanical problem. Have you considered trying to find a similar but "proven" map online uploaded by somebody and trying to "tweak" that one just to see if the changes you make do anything?

This would allow you to rule out your particular tune having some sort of problem.

Have you considered that your injectors are running out of life? Maybe the PTE are over rated? They might flow test less than the claimed 1200.

Was it doing this before you swapped turbos?
Are you running SD or still have a MAF?
Which Tephra ROM are you using?

It did not occur before.
Im still on MAF.
Tephra V7

I was thinking it was battery voltage however that is not the deal. Note: my fuel table was set to make the afr somewhat steady. This didn't work. All 3 correlate to the same data log.
