I thought jack's transmission advocates for keeping the balance shaft no?

Yes, but it depends on what the customer wants. If they want them then great, if not, then that's no problem either.

For the guy which drives their car on the street, I believe that keeping them is something which should be considered as it sucks to drive a buzzy car on the street or long distances. The buzz from an engine with removed balance shafts and lightened clutches ruins the comfort of the car IMO.

Does the stock balance shaft work equally well on 2.3L strokers too? Or are they suboptimal?

Yes, my car is driven on the street but it's growing faster into a full out Time Attack/Trail car...

I mean I just swapped out all of my Whitleine control arms bushings to ROBISPEC spherical bearings...

So a little buzz isn't going to bother me... Plus it's one less belt I have to worry about, as I've already had my balance belt snap on me at the track...

Balance shafts work better with more displacement. So if you have a 2.3 or 2.4L you will feel more benefits from keeping the balance shafts in it.

Was there any fitment issues with the and oil pan on this 2.3 stroker engine? I have seen complaints and stories from some people on here that say they've had problems with the crank hitting the oil pan insides.
