Rrm Turbo Questions
Hi,
I have an 03 OZ rally with the RRM intercooled kit. I also have RRM bored fuel rail,RRM light weight pully, SAFC2 installed and full exhaust. My question is i want to get some more power by adding larger injectors. How much work would it be to install 440cc 04 WRX injectors? Are they a direct fit? What parts would i need?
I also have a RRM header not installed yet which will be installed with the injectors.
My last question is has any one used the twin throttle body kit? I was thinking i would do this instead of the ported intake mandifold. Any thoughts?
And for controlling my boost any thoughts or experinces with what you guys have used.
Thanks
Nick

How do you not have the header installed when you're turboed?
The twin throttle body kit is a scam and moreover would be hard as hell to tune for.
The boost pressure should be controlled by the wastegate spring. You could buy a boost controller as well.
As for the WRX injectors question, do a search on here, I know some members have them. You don't get more power by just adding injectors, you need to supply more air and tune for it.

What is a safe boost? I run 6psi now. But i only drive my car in the summer and it sits all winter. I wanted to run 10psi because i only put like 4000 Miles on my car a year at the most now since i have another truck.
Shouldi get a 10psi spring?
Or should i get a whole electronic boost controller?
thanks

and get a manual boost controller
with bigger injectors and some tuning...the car should run fine.
i personally don't prefer using afc to tune the car~just my opinion!

RRM designed the turbo kit (the first one not the new one with the turbo manifold) to be used with the stock exhaust manifold... I have heard nothing but bad things about the twin throttle body manifold... I would just get the stock intake mani ported (could get it done for less than $100) and then the throttle body...
